  Children’s Ministry: Bridge 45

Bridge 45 is a special place just for 4th and 5th graders that meets every Sunday morning during the worship services. In Bridge 45 Preteens have a safe place to explore and grow in their faith through interactive and creative Bible lessons with adults who will help them find answers to their life questions, and help them along the way to becoming teens. Bridge 45 also gets together once a quarter for fun and/or service. For more information or to volunteer, email Beth Locke.

Children’s Ministry: Parenting

Kids of Hope Ministries offers regular small group and teaching opportunities for parents to grow in their confidence and parenting skills, and to meet to encourage one another in the tough business of parenting. For more information, please email Beth Locke or KathyCopan.

 Children’s Ministry: Babies of Hope
Our Babies of Hope Ministry is designed to care for children from birth through 5 years of age. We strive to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for our little lambs.

Our Nursery is for children birth through two. We offer a climbing center surrounded by fun, engaging toys, and wonderful adult and youth interaction.

Our Preschool Room offers a more structured environment. While still allowing time for fun, snacks, and socializing, a Christ filled curriculum introduces our children to Jesus and his love for everyone.

Our desire is a safe, fun place for your children to enjoy and learn, while offering you time to worship and reconnect during service. For more information, please email our Nursery / Preschool Coordinator
, Tammy Rimel.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in opens about 15 minutes prior to service time. For your children’s safety and to help us maintain accurate attendance records, please escort children to class and check in (regardless of child’s ability to walk self). For security reasons, please remain outside rooms at all times and wait for our Greeter to assist you. Please pick up children promptly after service so that later classes are not disturbed.
Promotion to new classes

Classes begin and end on Promotion Day, typically the weekend of Memorial Day. Children are placed in classes by birth date or current grade level and remain there all year, and regardless of their turning a year older. This helps maintain consistency in classes. Nursery & Toddler children move up as they develop, but move into the Kindergarten class on Promotion Day.

Sickness Policy
In order to keep all of our children healthy and happy, we ask that you please let children stay home if they have a fever greater than 99.0 or any contagious illness. To maintain healthy rooms, our volunteers are instructed not to admit sick children.

Security Procedures
At check-in, parents and their Nursery through Pre-School children will receive matching ID cards with the child’s name, picture, and an emergency number. The parent will take one ID card and the other will be attached either to the child’s diaper bag (Nursery) or child (Pre-School). At check-out, children will only be released to parents who show the corresponding ID card.

Emergency Procedures
All classrooms are equipped with a first aid kit. If a situation arises where you are needed, your child's ID card number will flash in red on the bottom of the two screens in the sanctuary. If you see your child's number appear, please go directly to your child's classroom. If an emergency arises that is beyond our ability to treat, 911 will be called immediately.
