Gleaning
On February 19th, 23 Community of Hoper's volunteered their Saturday to glean tomatoes at a local farm. These tomatoes will be used to help feed the hungry in Palm Beach County.
Without the participation of local farmers and volunteers, many in our community would not be able to benefit from the life sustaining goodness of fresh vegetables in their diets. Thank you to all who participated!
Backpacks For Haiti
During Vacation Bible School, the kids focused on a mission project: to collect funds to send backpacks full of school supplies to the children of Haiti. During the month of July, the entire congregation helped out with supplying backpacks and supplies for the children. In the end, 125 backpacks, packed full of supplies, were delivered via Missionary Flights International to the excited and thankful children in Haiti. (The pictures above show volunteers who met up at the Old Wellington Mall to "stuff" the backpacks)

Community of Hope often works with Habitat for Humanity on local housing projects.
In these photos you will see some of our volunteers working together with other volunteers to help provide a beautiful new home for a needy and deserving family.
In the last picture below on the right, you see the official blessing of the new home.
Community of Hope is blessed to be able to serve our community in this way!
